He played for many Northern League clubs , beginning at Bishop Auckland in 1965 , He also played for Durham City ( 3 spells ) , Tow Law , Whitby , North Shields ( 2 spells ) , Consett ( 2 spells ) , Evenwood , N orton , Willington and Esh Winning , as well as another spell at Bishop Auckland and his 2 spells at Crook .
