Hull City provided the opposition at Horsley Hill . South Shiolds , this afternoon in a return League engagement .
When the teams met at Hull last week the Seasiders were narrowly defeated by the only goal of the match , while the corres ponding tahae at South Striptes last season resulted in a goalless . draw .
The Shieldsmen were again without the services of Willis Walker , who is still on the sick list suffering from a severe attack of lumbago , and there were two changes in the team compared with last week . Robson deputised for Ridley , who was indisposed ; and Wilson reappeared at right half hack to the exclusion of 11ird .

THE GAME .
