South Shields Adelaide FC 1908 - 1909 . Wearside League and North Eastern League . This is considered to be the club reserve team , for reasons of lack of identification confirmations . First team photographs exist of this immediate period but all are unable to provide assistance with names . Authenticity is readily apparent by the football with SSFC and 1908-09 visible and also the team strip is a perfect match with other matched photographs available . All details therefore remain an ongoing mystery of when , where and who , etc etc. Team colours red and green shirts and socks , white shorts . The photograph location is unknown .
