-3 We do , of course , own our own ground which covers a site of eleven acres and which is equipped with all league facilities including full League - standard floodlighting . We realise that membership of the Foot ball League involves higher expenses , but we can assure you that the added expenditure presents us with no embarrassment . In any event we are currently carrying out further improvements and modifications to our ground which will continue throughout the close season . All these points are elaborated upon in our brochure which will be in your possession very soon , but we thought we would take this opportunity of familiarising you with some of the facts of our case . • We are completely in the hands of people like yourselves ; men with thorough experience of football , and men in whose hands also the destiny of Football itself rests safely , we feel sure .
