This letter is in the nature of an informal prelude to a brochure we will be sending you for your perusal and , we sincerely hope your approval and recommendation in our campaign for League status . In our brochure we will present our case for membership ; a case which we feel , in all aspects ' , is stronger than any other current non - League Club . For the past two seasons we have successfully operated in the North Regional League where we have broken several records and we would not in all honesty , entertain the thought of seeking you recommendation for League membership were we not 100 per cent confident cr possessed full belief in the case we have to offer . We fully realise however , that our own opinion of our Club may be biased and therefore can only depend upon the goodwill and frank approval of the friends we have made , particularly during the last season , in order to stand a reasonable chance of election . ACK We further realise that membership of the greatest football competition in the world is an honour that requires integrity , pride and the highest degree of sportsmanship ; and we feel these qualities exist within our Club .
