it is safe to say that " take cover ! 19 will be the order of the day if and when they are called upon to face the Barrett " battery " again .
TOP NOTCHERS . " - Beyond scoring his goals , Barrett was great in defence . Harry Wilding's " nodded " goal from McNeil's corner - kick was reminis cent of many similar goals scored by the ex - Grenadier in the past , and Priestley - ever on the look out for a scoring chance - made good use of Crawford's perfect

MURDOCH MCKENZIE . - The visiting centre , Murdoch McKenzie , not only shot a very fine goal , but was extremely dangerous throughout . A fortnight ago the men of Shields lost at Fulham by the odd goal in three , but were a bit unfortunate , as the deciding goal was from a twice - taken penalty , which had failed on the first taking .

the way , are the same as Chelsea's , so the visitors are called upon to change and each side will be striving to record a maiden victory over the other , for all three previous encounters have been drawn . Both games last season ended in a one - all draw , and when Chelsea visited Shields in October nothing was scored by either .

quently confused with his exact namesake at Millwall , who plays in the same position . The difficulty of dis tinguishing between them is increased by the fact that the Millwall man at one time played for South Shields . What is more curious still is that the two men are of the same height , 5 ft . 8ins . , and there is very little differ
